The Sixth Annual Race Montana Triathlon (formerly the Harvest Thunder Triathlon) is scheduled for Sunday, August 5 at the Electric City Water Park.
The Adult Sprint Triathlon begins at 7:00 am and includes a 500 meter swim, a 12.2 mile bike and a 3.1 mile run. If you do not want to compete in all three events, that’s no problem. Find 1 or 2 other individuals and compete as a team.
Beginning at 9:00 a.m there are also two youth divisions - making it a great event for the entire family,. The Youth Triathlon, ages 11-14, includes a 100 meter swim (2 pool lengths), a 3 mile bike; and a 1 mile run. The Youth Triathlon for children 10 and under includes a 50 meter swim (1 pool length), a 3 mile bike; and a ½ mile run.
Registration fees are as follows: Adult: $65, Adult Team: $115, Youth, $35, Youth Team, $60. The race will be professionally timed by Montana Timing (Billings, Montana – www.montanatiming.com).
